Recorded in the outskirts of Havana, Cuba, Brincando El Charco came together as an international music experiment featuring musicians, rappers, singers and producers from Cuba, Chile, and the USA. After 3 months working in an underground studio, el colectivo musical produced 10 innovative tracks that mixed Cuban son, salsa and rap with American funk and rock and spiced with Chilean rhymes. The themes on the albums confront Racism, Homophobia, Sexism, the US embargo, Inequality, and much, much more. The album features Cuban hip hop artists La Komfromta, Amazona, Nono, and Cuban singer/songwriter Arema, Chilean rapper Kanaka, American producer-rapper K'meron, and spoken word by Brecklyn Walters. This collection of songs is true history in the making, proving that collaborations between people will always be stronger than political isolation.
